Welcome to Just Dance York
York’s Fun, Freestyle and street Dance School. Situated in Heworth, York.
At Just Dance our main aim is to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere whilst improving dance technique and ability.
Taking part in dance shows is important to Just Dance. Participation in these events provides the pupils with the opportunity to build confidence and skill in performance, in an environment where they can bond and observe each other to improve.
We are keen to recognize progress, and often enter our pupils into dance exams to maintain our high standrards. This provides individual goals, and helps to perfect techniques which have been learned. We have a strong bond with parents and families within Just Dance, who are kept fully aware of their child’s progress and are updated with regular newsletters. We are keen for families to get involved, and encourage parents to ask questions and assist with our shows.

- Online zoom classes – We are currently running our timetable on zoom , these lessons are a fab way for children to stay in touch with us and learn routines from home. Please get in touch if you would like to join in and we can send all of the information to you !
- Local Events – After so many events were cancelled last year we are really hoping later in 2021 that we can perform at a few local shows, we will keep everyone notified of these as we move through the year.
- Upcoming Show– Our next huge show at Joseph Rowntree theatre will be January 12th-15th 2022, we are currently beginning work on routine for this show !
