About Just Dance York

Our Studios

Freestyle and street dance lessons are based at the Heworth Church Hall, Melrosegate, YO31ORP, York on a Monday evening. The hall is large and well facilitated with toilets and side rooms for parents or changing. Ages 3-18

On Tuesday evenings Boys Street Dance classes are also held at Heworth hall, junior class 5pm- 5.40pm ages 8-15.

We have water facilities although we would prefer you to bring your own drinks. Risk assessments are done weekly and health and safety rules are applied.

Our Teachers

Stacey has been running the dance school for 15 years and has, herself, danced in a variety of events and shows for over 25 years! Lois is a fabulous teacher and currently works as a primary school teacher in a local school. Maddie is our student teacher who has danced with us for many years, she’s a great assistant in our class 1 and 2. All of our teachers are qualified members of the NCDTA (Northern Counties dance Teacher association) and have lots of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. We also have student teachers who assist us in lessons regularly.
